The problem was never the technology

Since Euro VI every new European truck carries an SCR catalyst that stands still without AdBlue®. Euro 7 tightens the limits further from 2028/29 — which means more AdBlue® per truck, not less. What fails is the supply: in mines, ports, on farms and along long-haul corridors the fluid is expensive to move, runs out regularly, and hangs on a fragile global urea market.
